MINUTES Page 4 City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-December 21, 2009 "Employer of the Year" for 2009, and named Tara Peterson, Administrative Services Manager in the Engineering and Transportation Department, as "Professional of the Year." Engineering and Transportation Director Uche Udemezue commented on Ms. Peterson's involvement as Vice President of the Association, and the benefits to the City of her participation in this professional organization. C. Presentation on Development in San Leandro Made to the Alameda County Mayors' Conference on December 9, 2009. Mayor Santos gave a PowerPoint presentation that he made to the Alameda County Mayors' Conference earlier in the month. The presentation highlighted this year's development projects in San Leandro. 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. When you address the Ciry Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. None. 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS-JOINT CITY COUNCIL/ REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY None. 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT listed on the Agenda. Sara Mestas, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting on Ranked Choice Voting, and the cost savings and opportunities for greater voter participation that could be realized through its use. 6.
