MINUTES Page 4 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-December 21, 2009 <br />"Employer of the Year" for 2009, and named Tara Peterson, Administrative Services <br />Manager in the Engineering and Transportation Department, as "Professional of the <br />Year." Engineering and Transportation Director Uche Udemezue commented on Ms. <br />Peterson's involvement as Vice President of the Association, and the benefits to the City <br />of her participation in this professional organization. <br />C. Presentation on Development in San Leandro Made to the Alameda County Mayors' <br />Conference on December 9, 2009. <br />Mayor Santos gave a PowerPoint presentation that he made to the Alameda County <br />Mayors' Conference earlier in the month. The presentation highlighted this year's <br />development projects in San Leandro. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the Ciry Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br />None. <br />4. PUBLIC HEARINGS-JOINT CITY COUNCIL/ REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />None. <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor. <br />When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the <br />City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and <br />addresses obtained. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT <br />listed on the Agenda. <br />Sara Mestas, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting on Ranked <br />Choice Voting, and the cost savings and opportunities for greater voter participation that <br />could be realized through its use. <br />6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />None. <br />
