Discussion Regarding Project Updates <br />Ken Joseph gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding project updates. <br />o Washington / Beatrice / I-880 Improvements <br />■ Roadway improvements complete <br />■ Signals are operational <br />■ Completing signal interconnection and fiber optics <br />■ Funding is through Measure B and Development <br />Improvement (DFSI) funds <br />Fees for Street <br />Councilmember Souza asked if it is possible to have two left turn lanes from Fargo <br />Avenue into Greenhouse shopping center. Ken and Uche responded that traffic counts <br />have been done and will be used to resolve issues at this intersection. Currently the <br />signals are on fixed time, but when the project is complete, cameras will be used for <br />signal timing and these problems should be resolved. <br />o East 14th Street Medians <br />■ Median construction from 136th Avenue to 144th Avenue <br />■ 16 ramps have been brought up to current ADA standards <br />■ Median work waiting traffic control plan approval by Caltrans <br />0 Three month project funded by federal grants <br />
