IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-034 (1581) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF $6,250.00 FROM THE FAMILY OF <br />AMERICO AND FLORENCE SILVA TO BE USED FOR CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />SENIOR SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, San Leandro Administrative Code Section 1-9-110 A requires that all <br />donations to the City in excess of $5,000 shall be reviewed and accepted by the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the family of Americo and Florence Silva wishes to make a donation of <br />$6,250 to the City of San Leandro in their honor, requesting that the donation be used to support <br />senior services provided by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That it accepts the donation in honor of Americo and Florence Silva with gratitude and <br />directs the City Manager to see that the funds are used to support senior services provided by the <br />City. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 5th day of April, 2010, by <br />the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Santos (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Gregory (1) <br />ATTEST: ~~'~~~~ ~7~ ~L'~~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
