IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2010- <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING AS SURPLUS ONE (1) VEHICLE, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />SALE THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, one (1) vehicle, a 1988 Seagraves Fire Truck, has been identified as no longer <br />useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code, the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of one <br />(1) vehicle at public auction scheduled May 22, 2010 is hereby noted. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this day of <br />May, 2010 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />MAY 2010 COUNCIL RESOLUTION SURPLUS FIRE TRUCK <br />
