CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />City Councilmembers report on their activities, including attendance at Intergovernmental <br />Agency meetings, conferences and seminars, and local events, and make brief announcements <br />on issues of concern. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Reed commented on a letter writing campaign currently being conducted by <br />Main Street Property Services, in which residents can write to various businesses and <br />encourage them to locate in San Leandro. She commented on a Letter to the Editor published <br />in the San Leandro Times on the subject of illegal immigrants, and its racist connotations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Starosciak attended the Estabrook Place senior housing tour and the <br /> luncheon with U.S. Treasurer Rosie Rios. Councilmember <br /> adjourned in memory of Samuel Frank Doral, <br />the Automotive owner Roy Doral. <br /> <br /> <br />
