IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2010 - <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2010-2011 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG <br />SUBRECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO BUILDING FUTURES WITH <br />WOMEN AND CHILDREN (SAN LEANDRO SHELTER); DAVIS STREET FAMILY <br />RESOURCE CENTER FOR BASIC NEEDS PROGRAM AND COMMUNITY COUNSELING <br />PROGRAM; EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE & OPPORTUNITY FOR TENANT-LANDLORD <br />COUNSELING, RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, AND FAIR HOUSING SERVICES; GIltLS <br />INCORPORATED OF ALAMEDA COUNTY; SAFE ALTERNATIVES TO VIOLENT <br />ENVIRONMENTS (SAVE); AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS) <br />CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures <br />With Women and Children (BFWC) -San Leandro Shelter; Davis Street Family Resource Center <br />(DSFRC) for Basic Needs Program and Community Counseling Program; Eden Council for Hope <br />and Opportunity (ECHO Housing) for tenant-landlord counseling services, Rental Assistance <br />Program, and fair housing services; Girls Incorporated of Alameda County (Girls Inc.); Safe <br />Alternatives to Violent Environments .(SAVE); and Service Opportunity for Seniors, Inc. (SOS), <br />copies of which are attached, have been presented to this Council. <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized for <br />the CDBG public services grant amounts of $21,000 for BFWC's San Leandro Shelter; $35,000 for <br />DSFRC Basic Needs Program; $10,000 for DSFRC Community Counseling Program; $15,000 for <br />ECHO Housing's tenant-landlord services; $5,000 for ECHO Housing's Rental Assistance <br />Program; $14,000 for ECHO Housing's fair housing services; $10,000 for Girls Inc.; $10,940 for <br />SAVE; and $10,940 for SOS. <br />Introduced by Council Member and passed and adopted this <br />21St day of June, 2010, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />
