Bancroft Avenue Street Rehabilitation Program. Suppl. No. 017-N 2 July 6, 2010 The Plan is a means for local agencies to recapture the leftover ARRA fundin~ for use on other projects. These funds will be used to rehabilitate Bancroft Avenue from 138 Avenue to 148th Avenue as part of the Bancroft Avenue Street Rehabilitation Project. Analysis In December 2009, staff submitted an application for an ARRA Cost Savings grant to reconstruct Bancroft Avenue from 138th Avenue to 148th Avenue. The Authorization to Proceed with Construction (E-76) was issued on April 23, 2010 with a funding amount of $308,115. In addition to reconstructing the road pavement, the project will also replace outdated curb ramps within the project limits to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Damaged sidewalk, curb and gutter adjacent to the project area will also be repaired. Upon the City Council authorizing the City Manager to execute Program Supplement Agreement No. 017-N to Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 04-5041 R, the Caltrans' Local Assistance staff will proceed to make funds available for the construction phase of the project.
