By convening and adjourning this joint meeting, the requirements of <br />the Authorities for their annual meeting will be satisfied. There are no items on this agenda for the <br />Authorities to consider. <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Councilmember Prola led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />C. Announcements <br /> <br />Mayor Santos announced that he would dispense with the use of speaker cards tonight. <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGSCITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />fill out a speaker card <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br /> <br />A.Matter of Receipt of Protest Ballots Regarding Sewer Rate Increase and Consideration <br />of Wastewater Discharge Fee Increase. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br />Hollister provided background on the matter, and introduced Public Works Services <br />Director Mike Bakaldin.
