Proposed <br />Together with the existing row of trees and restored street, new small struc- <br />tures reinforce the Washington Avenue axis. They provide a lively edge to the <br />newly restored plaza. <br />The committee did not endorse <br />any particular plaza design, but <br />the criteria fox design only. <br />Further study is recommended for <br />this important space.
