This project is a series of recommendations for making the established ,~ downtown of San Leandro more attractive for businesses and shoppers. The downtown is developed with an outdoor shopping center and small retail stores. There are a few historic building dating back to the early twentieth century, but the plans do not call for the removal or remodeling of these structures 9.
