IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 61 (2898) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO K. J. WOODS CONSTRUCTION, INC., <br />FOR THE DAMS STREET SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, TIMOTHY DRIVE <br />TO DONOVAN DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 01-593-52-117 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on Apri13, 2001, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2001-42 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on March 5, 2001, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: K. J. Woods Construction, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the <br />Office of the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member Glaze and passed and adopted this <br />16th day of Apri12001, by the following called vote: <br />
