1. ENGINEER'S LETTER <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer ("City. Engineer") of the City of San Leandro (the <br />"City"), State of California, pursuant to Chapter 5, Title II of the San Leandro Municipal <br />Code, ordered the Annual Engineer's Report for the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment <br />District, Assessment District No. 96-3 ("District") to be prepared; <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer directed the NBS Government Finance Group to <br />prepare and file the Annual Engineer's Report presenting plans and specifications describing <br />the general nature, location and extent of the improvements to be maintained, an estimate of <br />the costs of the maintenance, operations and servicing of the improvements for the District <br />for the referenced fiscal year, a diagram for the District, showing the area and properties to be <br />assessed, and an assessment of the estimated costs of the maintenance, operations and <br />servicing the improvements, assessing the net amount upon all assessable lots and/or parcels <br />within the District in proportion to the special benefit received; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the following assessment is made to cover the portion of the <br />estimated costs of maintenance, operation and servicing of said improvements to be paid by <br />the assessable real property within the District in proportion to the special benefit received: <br />SUMMARY OF ASSESSMENT <br /> (1} (2) (3) <br /> As As As <br /> Preliminarily Confirmed Modified After <br /> Approved and Recorded Recordation <br />Estimated Fiscal Year 2001/02 Costs <br />Maintenance $184,160.00 <br />Contingency 18,416.00 <br />Administration 20,000.00 <br />Estimated 2001/02 Costs $222,576.00 <br />2001/02 Estimated Funds Sources <br />Assessments at 65.38% of Maximum $222,580.16 <br />2001/02 Assessments <br />451 Single Family Detached @ $390.72 $176,214.72 <br />178 Motor Court Units @ $260.48 46,365.44 <br />Tota12000/Ol Assessments $222,580.16 <br />1-1 <br />
