r <br />IN THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001 - 110 (1440/1368 ) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE <br />OF A RADAR TRAILER <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department believes in the effectiveness of utilizing Radar Trailers <br />to promote compliance with speed limits on City streets; <br />WHEREAS, one of the current Radar Trailers, purchased in 1994, has become inoperable; <br />WHEREAS, savings in the Police Department's Animal Control budget will allow for the <br />purchase of the new Radar Trailer; <br />WHEREAS, the cost to replace the inoperable radar trailer with a new Stalker Radar Trailer <br />is $17,109.40; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the Police Department be authorized to purchase a new Radar Trailer utilizing Fiscal <br />Year 2000-2001 funding in the amount of $17,109.40. <br />Introduced by Council Member <br />July, 2001 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />Grant and passed and adopted this 16th day of <br />Ayes: Council Members Glaze., Grant, Loeffler, Nardine, Santosa <br />Mayor Young ( 6 ) <br />Noes: None ( 0 ) <br />Absent: None ( 0 <br />Att t: ~ ~CC.t~~ ~ \~ r <br />Cit Clerk ~ `~ <br />~~ Gayle Petersen, y <br />F:~AG NDA\RADAR TRAILER~RESOLUT'ION.DOC <br />
