IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION N0.2001- 143 ~ (2912) RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BAMER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR MARQ~TA/NEPTUNE INTERSECTION IlVIPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO.Ol-230- 38-203, AND APPROPRIATION OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS MULTI-FUNDED PROJECT FUND (COMBINATION OF DFSI, GENERAL FUND, LOAN TO MARINA ENTERPRISE FUND AND GRANTS) Recitals The City of San Leandro did, on August 28; 2001, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2001-128 of the Council of said City adopted on July 16, 2001, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and transportation Director who has recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said work. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, to wit: Bamer Construction Company, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
