IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2010- <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO INTERNATIONAL <br />SURFACING SYSTEMS FOR THE ANNUAL STREET SEALING 2009-10 PROJECT, PROJECT <br />N0.09-144-38-307 <br />Recitals <br />The- City of San Leandro did, on July 8, 2010, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed <br />proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2010-080 of the Council of said <br />City adopted on June 21, 2010, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of <br />said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, <br />to wit: International Surfacing Systems, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this <br />19t" day of July, 2010, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />G:\_Admin\COUNCIL\2010\7 JUL 19\Annual St Sealing 2009-10 - AWARD\Annual Street Sealing 09-10 Award RES.Docx <br />
