- ~ .. <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2001161 (2910 ) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO L.C. GENERAL ENGINEERING & <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR CHABOT PARK RESTROOM REPLACEMENT, <br />PROJECT NO. 01-230-43-180, AND APPROPRIATION OF GENERAL FUNDS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $149,180 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on August 28, 2001, publicly open, examine and <br />declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2001- <br />121 of the Council of said City adopted on July 16, 2001, which resolution is hereby <br />expressly referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the <br />proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director <br />who has recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive <br />bid for doing said work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that <br />herein mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the <br />lowest responsible bidder therefore, to wit: L.C. General Engineering & Construction, <br />Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and <br />That $149,180 be appropriated from the General Fund. <br />
