IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 16 2 (2 911) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO SRP COMPANY FOR <br />ESTUDILLO AVENUE SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 01-593-52-118 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on September 25, 2001, publicly open, examine and <br />declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2001-122 <br />of the Council of said City adopted on July 16, 2001, which resolution is hereby expressly <br />referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings <br />under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who <br />has recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for <br />doing said work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest <br />responsible bidder therefore, to wit: SRP Company, at the prices named in its bid on file in <br />the Office of the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Council Member Santos and passed and adopted this <br />1st day of October 2001, by the following called vote: <br />
