EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Topographic Survey
Provide topographic survey of the 16 streets as described in Exhibit A-1 attached. The field
survey will provide 50 foot interval cross sections measured along centerline of roadway, lips of
gutters, quarter points and crowns; enough detail to completely describe each road cross sections.
Field survey will also provide grades at storm water inlet structures, water and gas valves,
monuments, manholes and miscellaneous utilities. Lane striping, pavement markers and signal
detector loops within the limits of survey are also included. Cross sections will be provided at
grade breaks along each roadway and 25 feet past returns into intersecting streets. Pavement
elevations at all critical points within each intersection will be provided. Field survey of each
street will be limited from curb line to curb line. In areas where there are no existing monuments,
consultant will establish temporary control points, for use during construction, outside the limits
of construction, in areas that will not be disturbed throughout the construction process.
Compile topographic map for each street or group of streets in AutoCAD Rel. 14 format, at 1" _
20'-0" scales. All AutoCAD files will include both horizontal and vertical controls, existing lips
of gutter, sufficient spot elevations to define existing topography on the hard surface. AutoCAD
files will also include curb and gutter lines. Texts shall be appropriately scaled. Features shall be
appropriately labeled including associated legends.
Schedule:
z~ ~~
Topographic Map (electronic files and hard Working days after receipt of
co ies) `Notice to Proceed'
Deliverables:
1"=20'-0" scale topographic maps on reproducible vellum.
2.
