IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2001- 207 (2914) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO STEINY AND COMPANY, INC., FOR <br />THE ADVANCED TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM, PHASE III & IV, <br />SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD AND MARINA BOULEVARD SIGNAL INTERCONNECT <br />AND CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV), HESPERIAN BOULEVARD SIGNAL <br />INTERCONNECT AND CCTV, BANCROFT AVENUE SIGNAL INTERCONNECT <br />AND CCTV, PROJECT NO.O1-230-38-221, <br />AND APPROPRIATION OF DFSI FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,000 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on November 6, 2001, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2001-168 of the <br />Council of said City adopted on October 15, 2001, which resolution is hereby expressly referred <br />to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said <br />resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work; and <br />Development Fees for Street Improvement (DFSI) funds have been paid by developers to <br />be used for traffic improvements throughout the City. <br />The Advance Traffic Signal System is consistent with previous uses of DFSI funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />
