i* , California Department of Fish and Game CERTIFICATE OF FEE EXEMPTION Project Title/Location (include County): 60 Unit Senior Housing Project, 232 East 14~' Street, San Leandro, California, Alameda County Project Description: Construct 60 units of rental housing (540 square feet each) for low income seniors. The project will consist of 60 apartment units; multi-purose room; administrative offices; lobby area and maintenance shop; landscaped grounds with garden plots; and paring for 60 cars. The City's Redevelopment Agency intends to convey the property to American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW); anon-profit housing developer. ABHOW will be the owner and developer of the senior housing facility. Findings of Exemption: 1. The City Council finds and determines that, when considering the record as a whole, there is no evidence before the City that the proposed project will have the potential for an adverse effect on the wildlife resources or the habitat on which wildlife depends. Certification: I hereby certify that the lead agency has made the above findings and that based upon the initial study. and hearing record the project will not individually or cumulatively have an adverse effect on wildlife resources, as defined in Section 711.2 of the California Fish and Game Code.
