By convening and adjourning this joint meeting, the requirements of <br /> the Authorities for their annual meeting will be satisfied. There are no items on this agenda for the <br /> Authorities to consider. <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was cailed to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> Councilmember Prola led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> B. Roll Call <br /> PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br /> Mayor Santos <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> C. Announcements <br /> Mayor Santos announced that he would dispense with the use of speaker cards tonight. <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br /> None. <br /> 3. PUBLIC 11EARINGS— CI"I'Y COUNCIL <br /> Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br /> Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br /> to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br /> and addresses obtained. <br /> A. Matter of Receipt of Protest Ballots Regarding Sewer Rate Increase and Consideration <br /> of Wastewater Discharge Fee Increase. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br /> Hollister provided background on the smatter, and introduced Public Works Services <br /> Director Mike Bakaldin.
