• Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 18, 1996 Page - 2 - <br /> PRESENTATIONS (continued) <br /> B. Proclamation Designating April 1996 as Fair Housing Month. <br /> Mayor Corbett presented the Proclamation to Jacqui Diaz, CDBG <br /> Coordinator. Ms. Diaz congratulated the City Council for supporting <br /> fair housing for almost 30 years. She said she looks forward to <br /> sharing the Proclamation with the Housing Task Force. <br /> C. Proclamation Designating April 1996 as Earthquake Preparedness Month. <br /> Mayor Corbett presented the Proclamation to Dan Lunsford, Disaster <br /> Preparedness Coordinator. She said the City has become nationally <br /> known for its disaster preparedness program, and FEMA is interested in <br /> filming City classes for use nationally. <br /> Mayor Corbett read the Proclamation. Mr. Lunsford thanked the City <br /> Council, Mayor, City Manager, staff, and the community for their <br /> leadership and support of disaster preparedness in the community. <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited <br /> to make any comments related to Agenda items (including San Leandro <br /> Redevelopment Agency, San Leandro Parking Authority, and San Leandro <br /> Industrial Development Authority) or other items of public interest at this <br /> time. Comments regarding Public Hearing items will be heard during the <br /> Public Hearing portion of the Agenda. <br /> None <br /> 6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered <br /> for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council <br /> may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. <br /> Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> The Consent Calendar was approved as follows: <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved adoption of the Consent <br /> Calendar, with all items deemed to have been read by title, seconded by <br /> Council Member Myers, and carried by a majority vote (7). <br /> A. Minutes of the'meeting of March 4, 1996. Approved as submitted. <br /> B. Resolution No. 96 -32, Resolution Approving Contractual Services <br /> Agreement with Caporicci & Larson (provides for audit services for <br /> Fiscal Years 1995 -96 through 1997 -98, with option to extend for <br /> additional two years).
