PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG 3. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ABSENT /EXCUSED: Council Member Loeffler 4. PRESENTATIONS None 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items (including San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, San Leandro Parking Authority, and San Leandro Industrial Development Authority) or other items of public interest at this time. Comments regarding Public Hearing items will be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the Agenda. A. Betsy Venters, 1322 Castro Street, asked where the 125 Lloyd Wise employees will park. She spoke regarding traffic impact and noted there are two schools in the area. She said she attended two Redevelopment Department meetings and was told the costs of the project were not known, but two days later the costs are being shown. She said questions are being avoided during the sessions with Redevelopment staff. She said people are being told it's not a done deal, yet escrow . papers are signed. Mayor Corbett said that staff was already looking into the matter of employee parking. Mike Oliver, City Manager, said staff will ensure there is no impact on adjacent properties. He said the financing concept has been discussed with Mr. Batarse. The goal was to present it to the City Council in Work Session first so the Council and the public could concurrently learn the details. He said the figures are not final. He noted there will be a public hearing. He said public input is welcome and staff will answer questions promptly.
