(d) GREEN indicates no stopping, standing, or parking, for a period of time greater than <br /> twenty -four (24) minutes between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. of any day except <br /> Sundays and holidays, and except as otherwise indicated by signs placed pursuant to ordinance. <br /> (e) BLUE indicates parking limited exclusively to the vehicles of physically handicapped <br /> persons, which vehicles display either a distinguishing license plate or a placard issued pursuant <br /> to California Vehicle Code Section 22511.5. <br /> Section 3. Title VI, Chapter 1, Article 6, Sections 6 -1 -600, 6 -1 -605 and 6 -1 -615 of the San <br /> Leandro Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 6 -1 -600: TRUCK NO PARKING. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any <br /> truck to stop, stand or park such truck, whether attended or unattended, at any location <br /> designated as a "Truck No Parking" area, except when such truck is parking in connection with <br /> the performance by such operator of a service to or on property in the immediate area in which <br /> such truck is so parked. "Truck" means a truck or trailer or combination thereof with a <br /> manufacturer's rated capacity greater than three - quarters (3/4) of a ton. The City Manager, or <br /> his/her designee, shall designate the streets, or portions of streets, to which this section shall <br /> apply. <br /> Section 6 -1 -605: TRUCK NO PARKING - TRUCK ROUTE. It shall be unlawful <br /> for the driver of any motor truck, as defined in Title VI, Chapter 7, to stop, stand or park such <br /> motor truck between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. upon those local truck routes or <br /> through truck routes so designated by the City Manager, or his/her designee. <br /> Section 6 -1 -615: TRUCKS OVER 25 TONS PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful <br /> for any person to move or operate any vehicle or combination of vehicles having a gross weight <br /> in excess of twenty -five (25) tons upon any of the streets or portions of streets designated by the <br /> City Manager, or his/her designee. The City Manager shall erect and maintain appropriate <br /> weight limit signs on such streets. <br /> Section 4. Title VI, Chapter 1, Article 8, Sections 6 -1 -800 and 6 -1 -835 of the San Leandro <br /> Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 6 -1 -800: MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS. The City Manager, or his/her <br /> designee, may prohibit, limit or restrict parking of vehicles on municipal parking lots or other <br /> city property and direct the placement of signs designating such prohibition, limitation or <br /> restriction. When such signs are in place, no person shall stop, park or leave standing any <br /> vehicle whether attended or unattended contrary to the provisions thereof. <br /> 3 <br />
