SECTION 2-14-115. ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS. <br /> There shall be a Board of Directors ( "Board ") of the District to administer the affairs of <br /> the District. Said Board shall be constituted of businesses within the District. Within the <br /> Board there shall be a President, Vice- President, Secretary, and Treasurer elected by the <br /> membership, and such other officers as deemed necessary by the Board. Such other <br /> officers shall be appointed by the Board at their discretion. All voting within the District <br /> regarding election of Board Members and any actions regarding the normal and routine <br /> conducting of District Business shall be based on one (1) vote per assessed dollar, and <br /> said business must be cu in payment of their District assessment(s) to participate in <br /> such votes. <br /> SECTION 2 -14 -120. ESTABLISHMENT OF BENEFIT ASSESSMENT. All <br /> businesses, trades, and professions located within the District boundaries shown on <br /> Exhibit A shall, commencing January I, 2000, pay an annual benefit assessment to the <br /> District in the following amounts: <br /> Zone A Zone B <br /> Retailers and Restaurants: (1 -3 emp.) $150.00 $75.00 <br /> (4 -6 emp.) $300.00 $150.00 <br /> (7+ emp.) $450.00 $225.00 <br /> Service Businesses $125.00 $62.00 <br /> Professional Businesses $100.00 $50.00 <br /> Financial Institutions $500.00 $500.00 <br /> Lodging: (Bed & Breakfast) $200.00 <br /> (Hotels, Motels) $300.00 <br /> Note: Retail and restaura businesses will be assessed a benefit fee according to <br /> number of full -time employees (based on 2,000 annual hours) or the equivalent <br /> number of accumulated hours worked by all fill- and part -time employees. <br /> SECTION 2 -14 -125. PURPOSE AND USE OF BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS. The types <br /> of improvements and activities proposed to be funded by the levy of assessments on <br /> businesses in the District are as follows: <br /> A.
