• Doolittle Drive Corridor - Doolittle Drive could be the main north -south corridor for <br /> bicycles, connecting Alameda and Oakland to Hayward, San Lorenzo, and the <br /> Shoreline Trail. Currently, a gap exists from Davis Street to Fairway Drive. An <br /> alternative to bridging this gap would be to route bicycles through Aurora Drive - <br /> Polvorosa Avenue west of Doolittle Drive. <br /> • Bancroft Avenue Corridor - Bancroft Avenue would also establish bicycle connection <br /> between areas north and south of San Leandro. Bancroft Avenue comes in from <br /> Oakland on the north side and connects to Hesperian Boulevard which continues <br /> southerly to Union City. A bikeway on Bancroft Avenue would be an extension of the <br /> bike lanes on Hesperian Boulevard from Bancroft Avenue to Springlake Drive. <br /> • MacArthur Boulevard -Grand Avenue Corridor - MacArthur Boulevard -Grand Avenue <br /> could be an alternative corridor to Bancroft Avenue from Oakland to Dolores Avenue. <br /> • <br /> 21 <br />
