f <br /> A. Adult Bookstore. An establishment which has a substantial <br /> portion of its stock in trade and offers for sale, for any form of <br /> consideration, any one or more of the following: <br /> (I) Books, magazines, periodicals or other printed matter, or <br /> photographs, films, motion pictures, video cassettes, slides <br /> or other visual representations which are characterized by <br /> an emphasis upon the depiction or description of "specified <br /> sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas;" or <br /> (2) Instruments, devices, or paraphernalia which are designed <br /> for use in connection with "specified sexual activities." <br /> This definition does not include such items customarily <br /> and regularly sold by a bona fide pharmacy. <br /> B. Adult Motion Picture Theater. An establishment where, for any <br /> form of consideration, films, movies, pictures, video cassettes, <br /> slides or similar photographic reproductions are shown to an <br /> audience, and in which a substantial portion of the total <br /> presentation time is devoted to the showing of material which is <br /> characterized by an emphasis upon the depiction or description <br /> of "specified sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas." <br /> C. Adult Theater. A theater, concert hall, auditorium or other <br /> similar establishment, which, for any form of consideration, <br /> regularly features live performances which are characterized by <br /> the exposure of "specified anatomical areas" or by an emphasis <br /> upon the depiction of "specified sexual activities." <br /> D. Other Adult Entertainment Establishments. Any other business <br /> or establishment which offers its patrons services or <br /> entertainment characterized by an emphasis on matters depicting, <br /> displaying, describing or relating to "specified sexual activities" or <br /> "specified anatomical areas." <br /> Section 5. The land use categories provided in Section 4 above are <br /> prohibited in all land use districts of the City. The Development Services <br /> Department shall not process any applications for entitlements including conditional <br /> use permits, variances, or building permits for said uses until such time as this <br /> ordinance has expired or new zoning ordinances or maps of the City have become <br /> 4 <br />
