IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010 - <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO GRANITE ROCK <br /> COMPANY FOR THE 2660 EDEN ROAD GRADING AND DIRT DISPOSAL PROJECT, <br /> PROJECT NO. 09- 593 -52 -216 AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE WATER <br /> POLLUTION CONTROL ENTERPRISE FUND <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on August 19, 2010, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2010 -095 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on July 19, 2010 which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br /> therefore, to wit: Granite Rock Company at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br /> the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Council Member and passed and adopted <br /> this 7 day of September 2010, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> Attest: <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br /> G:\ AdminI COUNCIL \2010 \9 SEP 7\5 - 2660 Eden Road Grading & Dirt Disposal - AWARD12660 Eden Road Grading Din Disposal Award <br /> RES.Doc <br />
