IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 49 (2884 ) <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO P & P CONSTRUCTION, INC., <br /> FOR GRAND AVENUE /JOAQUIN AVENUE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, AND <br /> ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF DFSI FUNDS OF $30,000 <br /> FOR PROJECT NO. 99- 120 -38 -192 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on April 11, 2000, publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2000 -38 of the Council <br /> of said City adopted on March 20, 2000, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br /> description of said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder, <br /> therefore, to wit: P & P Construction, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of <br /> the City Clerk. <br /> Development Fees for Street Improvements (DFSI) funds have been paid by developers <br /> to be used for traffic improvements throughout the City. <br /> The traffic flow improvements for Grand and Joaquin Avenues are consistent with <br /> previous uses of DFSI funds. <br />
