IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 49 (2884 ) RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO P & P CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR GRAND AVENUE /JOAQUIN AVENUE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, AND ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF DFSI FUNDS OF $30,000 FOR PROJECT NO. 99- 120 -38 -192 Recitals The City of San Leandro did, on April 11, 2000, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2000 -38 of the Council of said City adopted on March 20, 2000, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said resolution. Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said work. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder, therefore, to wit: P & P Construction, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Development Fees for Street Improvements (DFSI) funds have been paid by developers to be used for traffic improvements throughout the City. The traffic flow improvements for Grand and Joaquin Avenues are consistent with previous uses of DFSI funds.
