IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 50 (1007/2876) <br /> RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY <br /> FRONTING TRACT MAP 7154; A STRIP OF PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY, 100 FEET LONG <br /> AND 7 FEET WIDE AT 461 AND 473 ESTUDILLO AVENUE <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, a 7 foot wide strip of land to be summarily vacated by this resolution is <br /> located at 461 and 473 Estudillo Avenue and is more precisely in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto, <br /> and made a part hereof; and <br /> WI-IEREAS, the 7 foot wide strip is not required for street purposes. <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed vacation has been found to be categorically exempt from the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, said summary vacation is made under Chapter 4 (Summary Vacation) Part 3 <br /> Division 9, Section 8331 of the California Streets and Highways Code; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The City Council hereby orders the summary vacation of the herein above <br /> described 7 foot strip of public right -of -way. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the <br /> Office of the Recorder of Alameda County, California immediately upon its adoption. <br /> 3. That from and after the date of recordation of this resolution, said 7 foot wide <br /> strip of right -of -way no longer constitutes a public street. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Galvan and passed and adopted this <br /> 17th day of April 2000, by the following called vote: <br />
