WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Transportation requires, as part of this <br /> agreement, a resolution authorizing an official of the participating agency to execute said <br /> agreement, said agreement having recently been modified to reflect new provisions of ISTEA <br /> and TEA and the current Local Assistance Procedures. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San <br /> Leandro that the City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the State of <br /> California Department of Transportation covering the general requirements of all federal -aid <br /> projects for the implementation of projects and the maintenance of completed facilities. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to the <br /> State of California Department of Transportation, Design and Local Programs Division, in <br /> conjunction with the agreement. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Gl a ze and passed and adopted this <br /> 5` day of June 2000, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the City Council: <br /> AYES: Council Members Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, Nardine; <br /> Mayor Young ( 6 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Gal van ( 1 ) <br /> Attest: <br /> �p�; 4 <br /> � �j� <br /> Gayle Petersen, City Clerk <br />
