CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> Community Facilities District No. 1 <br /> (Cherrywood) <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The City Council (the "Council ") of the City of San Leandro (the "City ") did, pursuant <br /> to the provisions of the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended (the "Act "), <br /> on June 5, 2000, adopt a resolution entitled "Resolution of Intention to Establish a Community <br /> Facilities District (the "Resolution of Intention "). In the Resolution of Intention, the Council <br /> expressly ordered the preparation of a written Community Facilities District Report (the <br /> "Report "), for the proposed City of San Leandro Community Facilities District No. 1 <br /> (Cherrywood) (the "CFD "). <br /> The Resolution of Intention ordering the Report did direct that the Report generally <br /> contain the following: <br /> 1. A description of the Facilities and Services by type which will be required to <br /> adequately meet the needs of the CFD; and <br /> 2. An estimate of the fair and reasonable cost of the Facilities and Services included <br /> therewith. <br /> For particulars, reference is made to the Resolution of Intention for the CFD, as <br /> previously 'approved and adopted by the Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, 1, the City Engineer, do hereby submit the following data: <br /> A. DESCRIPTION OF FACILITIES. A general description of the proposed <br /> facilities and services are as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and hereby made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> B. PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT. <br /> The proposed boundaries of the CFD are those properties and parcels in which special taxes <br /> may be levied to pay for the costs and expenses of the facilities and services. The proposed <br /> boundaries of the CFD are described on the map of the CFD recorded in the Alameda County <br /> Recorder's Office on June 13, 2000 in Book 14 at Page 55 of Maps of Assessment and <br /> Community Facilities Districts, to which reference is hereby made. <br /> C. COST ESTIMATE. The cost estimate for the facilities and services for the CFD <br /> is set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Dated as of July 17, 2000 <br /> By: .
