IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 115 (2004) <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT <br /> WITH UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY RELATED TO IMPROVING RAILROAD <br /> CROSSINGS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS (PHASE 11) AND THE APPROPRIATION OF <br /> GENERAL FUND MONEY FOR PHASE II AND PHASE III WORK <br /> Recitals <br /> An Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Union Pacific Railroad <br /> Company, a copy of which is attached hereto, has been presented to this Council. <br /> The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> The City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. <br /> An appropriation of General Funds is requested in the amount of $448,724, $373,937 of <br /> which will be reimbursed to the City by a TEA -21 grant to fund the subject project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized, and; <br /> Approval of appropriation of General Funds in the amount of $448,724 is hereby <br /> authorized. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this <br /> 17 day of July 2000, by the following called vote: <br />
