IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 129 (1007/1313-8) <br /> RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY <br /> FRONTING SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD, 960 SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD. (OLD <br /> CORPORATION YARD SITE) AT SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD AND DAVIS STREET; <br /> A STRIP OF LAND APPROXIMATELY 85 FEET LONG AND 15 FEET WIDE, <br /> PORTION OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER, 075 -0036- 052 -00 <br /> Recitals <br /> WHEREAS, a 15 foot wide strip of land to be summarily vacated by this resolution is <br /> located at 960 San Leandro Boulevard and is more precisely described in Exhibit "A ", attached <br /> hereto, and made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 15 foot wide strip is not required for street purposes. <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed vacation has been found to be categorically exempt from the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, said summary vacation is made under Chapter 4 (Summary Vacation) Part 3 <br /> Division 9, Section 8331 of the California Streets and Highways Code; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE_, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The City Council hereby orders the summary vacation of the herein above <br /> described 15 foot strip of public right -of -way. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the <br /> Office of the Recorder of Alameda County, California immediately upon its adoption. <br /> 3. That from and after the date of recordation of this resolution, said 15 foot wide <br /> strip of right of way no longer constitutes a public street. <br />
