MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, THE SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, <br /> THE SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND • <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY DISTRICT 3 SUPERVISOR WILMA CHAN REGARDING THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO COLLABORATIVE FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND THEIR FAMILIES <br /> The San Leandro Collaborative for Children, Youth, and Their Families (SLC) was formed by <br /> the City of San Leandro, the San Leandro Unified School District, the San Lorenzo Unified <br /> School District, and Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan to facilitate the development of <br /> policies, programs, and resources for San Leandro's children, youth, and families as presented in <br /> the Youth Development Master Plan (Attachment A - Action Plan Goals). <br /> The SLC is governed by an executive committee comprised of five voting members: the San <br /> Leandro Mayor, a San Leandro City Council Member, a San Leandro Unified School District <br /> Board Member, a San Lorenzo Unified School District Board Member, and Alameda County <br /> District 3 Supervisor Wilma Chan. General membership of the SLC is comprised of members <br /> who are representatives of the City, the San Leandro Unified School District, the San Lorenzo <br /> Unified School District, numerous community -based organizations, and interested citizens, <br /> including youth and parents. <br /> The City, School Districts, and County, upon request and recommendation of the SLC, will <br /> commit financial resources to secure staffing for the SLC. The City Manager or his designee <br /> will provide staff support for the SLC. <br /> Effective Fiscal Year 2000 -2001, subject to available funding and continuing need, the SLC <br /> Project Manager shall provide administrative support for the SLC, per the scope of work <br /> identified in the Proposed Objective 2000 -2001 (Attachment B). <br /> Upon approval of this Memorandum of Understanding, funds shall be advanced to the City, <br /> received on behalf of the SLC and expended in compliance with the Budget (Attachment C). <br /> The City shall provide a report summarizing the receipt and expenditure of funds to the SLC no <br /> later than October 1, 2001. <br /> AGREED: <br /> Shelia Youn•, 1• ayo Fred Collins, President Norman D.
