EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant shall conduct a constructability review and provide written comments to the City as described in the following tasks and within the schedule identified. Task 001 - Plans and Specification Review • Review the plans and specifications for general constructability and difficulty in construction. Review the plans and specifications for contradictions between each other. Review the plans and specifications for coordination between the design disciplines. Review the plans and specifications for ambiguities and possible omissions. Task 002 - Legal and Contractual Provisions • Review General Conditions for completeness and conformance with SRF requirements. Task 003 - Work Logic and Timeline • Review the construction sequencing logic and timeline to minimize change orders and disruptions to plant operations. • Review the project schedule developed by the designer. Review the specifications for inclusion of defined milestones and schedule constraints and record drawing requirements. Task 004 - Construction Provisions • Review that the specified temporary provisions are adequate for continuous plant operation during construction. • Review that the specified temporary provisions are satisfactory to allow for testing and start-up. • Review that the odor control provisions are satisfactory for containment of odors during construction, • Review that the design has considered provisions for the Contractor's access, storage and lay down areas. Task 005.0 & M Features • Review the design documents for inclusion of operational and maintenance friendly features Task 006 - Control Logic/ ElectricaV Instrumentation • Review control /logic strategies and instrumentation to confirm that new equipment functions properly • Review the equipment control diagrams for support of the specified operational strategies.
