IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 175 (1219/1250) <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE <br /> (DBE) PROGRAM. GOALS AND METHODOLOGY FOR THE <br /> CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR THE RECEIPT OF FEDERAL HIGHWAY FUNDS <br /> FINDINGS <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on September 5, 2000 by Resolution <br /> No. 2000 -128 adopted a draft Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program ( "DBE Program ") for <br /> program activities that are funded wholly or in part by federal highway funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Participation Program implemented by staff at the direction of the City <br /> Council by Resolution No. 2000 -128 allowing 45 days for the review of and comments regarding the <br /> draft program, goals and methodology has ended; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> I. The Final DBE Program, Goals and Methodology for the City of San Leandro are <br /> hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> 2. The City Council of the City of San Leandro directs the City Manager to enter into an <br /> agreement with Caltrans to comply with the requirements as outlined in the Final DBE Program. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Loeffler and passed and adopted this <br /> 20th day of November 2000, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, Nardine; <br /> Mayor Young ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Attest: ,{, <br /> Gayle Petersen.
