ESA's reputation and qualifications are firmly established in the City and throughout the larger Bay Arca, including well over a decade of planning and restoration services and monitoring at our signature salt marsh mitigation project, the San Leandro Shoreline Marshlands. The costs of dredging and the lack of funding have put the City in a difficult position. From our long- standing perspective, the City has created one of the best water- oriented developments on the Bay shoreline. One lasting impression from our time in the area is how much the City residents value, and utilize, all the amenities it provides. We are committed to helping the City find a new use, or combination of uses, which redeems and hopefully improves upon San Leanro's original vision. We will be working with a small team of specialists from firms who have been partners with us at San Leandro, are coastal planning experts, habitat restorers, or all three.
