MJ Si% B. Description of Project Team
hydrodynamic and sediment transport models to address coastal /estuarine
processes and tidal hydraulics within large bays and estuaries as well as open
coastlines. He has been a key player on several multi - disciplinary projects
such as the development of Hunters Point and Treasure Island Navy Bases,
restoration of Bair Island and North Bay Diked Baylands, marina planning
for San Francisco, Oyster Point, and Martinez Marinas, coastal engineering
for the Cities of Oakland, San Francisco, and Redwood City, and hydraulic
studies for the new Bay Bridge and other open -coast areas along Northern
California.
Building on his past work for the South Bay in general (Sedimenurtion Studies
in support of the SFO Runway Reconfiguration Project) and San Leandro in
particular (Report of Maintenance Dredging Needs), Dr. Trivedi will be
responsible for the interim/future basin hydrology component of the study,
which will provide the qualitative sediment budgets for cach of the
alternatives, as well as his professional judgment of the relative feasibility of
maintaining some boating use in the future.
•
Gty of San Leandro Harbor Resin Alternatives Study REP 50536 8 -5
