The <br />suspension constitutes a motion for reconsideration of the action, to be voted upon at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Item 10.B.: <br /> <br />Jerry Engler, San Leandro resident <br />support for Measure M. <br /> <br />Paul Pierce, San Leandro resident and President of the San Leandro Swim Team <br />, <br />addressed the City Council, commenting on the importformal <br />endorsement of Measure M. <br /> <br />Martin Capron, San Leandro resident <br />, addressed the City Council, urging the Council to <br />support Measure M. <br /> <br />End of Public Comments on Item 10.B. <br /> <br />Councilmembers voiced support for Measure M, while expressing some concern about the <br />process for support of ballot measures. <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 2010-128 <br />, Resolution Supporting Measure M, San Leandro Sports <br />Facilities School Bond (supports Measure M on the November 2010 ballot to fund <br />renovations and improvements to sports facilities at San Leandro schools and at Burrell <br />Field). <br /> <br />M/S/C Prola and Reed. When you address the City Council, you should and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br /> <br />A.Matter of an Interim Urgency Ordinance Prohibiting Consideration and Approval of <br />Use Permits, Variances, Building Permits, Start of New Construction, or Other <br />Entitlements for Any Establishment or Operation of Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, <br />Marijuana Cultivation Facilities, or Other Land Uses that Could Be Proposed Should <br />Prop 19 Be Approved by Voters this November for a Forty-Five Day Period. <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, City Manager <br />Hollister introduced Community Development Director Luke Sims. Mr. Sims provided <br />background on the item, which would allow the City to take a proactive stance in the <br /> <br />
