Once a hearing is closed, it is inappropriate for the public to speak except to answer an <br /> inquiry of Council Members addressed through the Chair. _ <br /> CITIZENS ADDRESSING COUNCIL <br /> Covered under sSection VIII "Addressing the Council." <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by <br /> the City Council with a single action. The City Council may remove items from the <br /> Consent Calendar for discussion and vote on the item as a separate matter. Items listed <br /> on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> PRESENTATION REQUESTS BY MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL TO SCHEDULE <br /> AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Any item raised as a future agenda item at one of its regular meetings by a Council <br /> Member will, by uā nuteri - vo te ofconsensus of the Council, be referred to staff for <br /> placement on an upcoming Council agenda (Work Session or regular Council Meeting) <br /> or Council Committee agenda. The Presiding Officer will ask Council members to <br /> indicate their interest in considering the item, then announce whether or not there is <br /> consensus to schedule the item on a future agenda. <br /> IV - 5 <br />
