IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT ON EDEN ROAD FROM DOOLITTLE DRIVE TO DAVIS STREET Recitals Pursuant to a resolution of this Council and notice duly given, a public hearing on the matter of removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures from the hereinafter - described areas was held on January 3, 2011. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That this Council hereby determines that the public necessity, health and safety require the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, cable, or similar associated service, in the following areas: A. Eden Road as shown on the plan line of the same name, adopted by Ordinance 2007 -002, generally described as the existing Eden Road from Doolittle Drive to the Water Pollution Control Plant and an extension of Business Center Drive from Davis Street to Eden Road 13. Containing parcels of land identified by Assessor's Parcel Number listed in Attachment 1, inclusive; and be it further RESOLVED that pursuant to Title V, Chapter 3 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, this Council hereby orders such removal and the installation of such underground facilities as may be occasioned thereby as follows: 1. Installation by property owners of facilities necessary to receive service no later than February 1, 2015 2. Removal of poles, overhead wires and associated structures no later than July 1, 2015; and it is further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof in the manner required by law.
