CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. <br />A. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br />Mayor Cassidy <br />ABSENT: None <br />B. Announcements <br />None. <br />2. BUSINESS ITEMS <br />A. Meeting with Federal Government Liaison Len Simon to Discuss Funding <br />Opportunities for City Projects and Programs. <br />Len Simon, the City's Federal Affairs Representative, discussed with the City Council <br />his firm's role; past efforts and successes in obtaining federal support and assistance for <br />City projects; and strategies for meeting with legislative representatives and their staffs <br />and other federal officials during the National League of Cities' Washington, D.C. <br />Conference in March. <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments may be limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items <br />of public interest, at this time. <br />
