He thanked the audience for their support and for the opportunity to <br /> serve them. <br /> 3. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT <br /> listed on the Agenda. <br /> Mike Sobek, President, San Leandro Police Officers Association, addressed the City <br /> Council, thanking Mayor Santos for his many years of service to the City, his support for <br /> public safety, and his strong lobbying efforts on the federal COPS grant and for Measure Z. <br /> Mr. Sobek also thanked Councilmember Stephens for his sound decision - making and <br /> leadership. Mr. Sobek requested that the Council display good faith, and honor the collective <br /> bargaining agreement with its employees. <br /> Benny Lee, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, thanking Mayor Santos for <br /> his many accomplishments while in office, including the crematorium ban, opposition to the <br />
