CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL PLN2010 -00049 USAgain, LLC (Applicant) PERMITTED USE A. This site plan review approval allows for placement by USAgain, LLC up to 14 clothing donation boxes on private property at various locations throughout the City of San Leandro. II. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. The total number of donation boxes located within the City of San Leandro shall not exceed 14. B. Each location shall obtain a separate approval for an Administrative Review. Any box that is moved to a new location shall require a separate Administrative Review. C. Applicant shall submit written authorizations from a property or business owner(s) as well as a site plan showing the proposed location of the box. D. Donation boxes shall not be located closer than one -half mile (0.5 miles) distance from one another. E. Placement of a collection box must comply with all requirements outlined in San Leandro Zoning Code Section 1646.D.2 Design Criteria and Standards/Small Collection Facilities, which includes but is not limited to the following: i. The collection box shall be set back at least 10 feet from a front or side property line, and twenty (20) feet from an R Residential district boundary, and shall not obstruct pedestrian or vehicular circulation. ii. The collection box shall not be located in a parking space. iii. Containers shall be clearly marked to identify the type of material that may be deposited and the name and telephone number of the operator clearly marked on the container. F. In addition to the name and telephone number of the organization, the following additional information shall be also be clearly displayed: i. The organization's website address ii. If the organization is a non - profit, that shall be clearly stated along with the organizations Charitable Trust (CT) number issued by Attorney General's Office.
