Specifically, on page 6 -28 of the Housing Element. the proposed <br /> revised policy reads as follows <br /> Action 58 -08 C Within 12 months of Housing Element adoption, amend the San Leandro <br /> Zoning Code to allow group residential uses (such as homeless shelters, rooming and <br /> boarding houses, supportive housing, and residential care facilities as a matter of right <br /> (Le. without discretionary review) on Industrial Light (IL) zoned parcels. <br /> Adoption of the proposed Zoning Code amendments to allow homeless shelters in the IL zoning <br /> as a permitted use brings the Zoning Code into full compliance with both State law and the <br /> proposed General Plan amendments. <br />
