The California Department of Fish and • <br /> Game has issued a "CEQA Filing Fee No Effect Determination" for this project. <br /> The City of San Leandro Is undertaking an update of the Zoning Code in order to keep current with state <br /> mandates and to address needed adjustments to the 2007 adoption of the Dovmtown Area (DA) use and <br /> parking regulations. These include meeting homeless housing standards pursuant to SB2 "Fair Share <br /> Zoning Law; Addressing conformance of existing Planned'Developments (PD) that are now zoned DA; . <br /> changing certain uses in the DA such as allowing "animal grooming" and "cafes" where these were <br /> previously not permitted; to allow "dental labs" as part of the definition of "Offices Business and <br /> • Professional', to modify status of office uses in the DA zones and; to amend the zoning code relative to <br /> parking In the TOD Strategy area. This text change does not change a parking standard in the area, it <br /> simply removes parking standards that have expired and no longer apply. <br /> 9.
