Discussion Regarding Appointment of Committee Chair <br /> Consensus of the Committee was that Councilmember Gregory will be the Committee Chair <br /> 2. Discussion Regarding Meeting Dates and Times <br /> Consensus of the Committee was that meetings will be scheduled as needed. <br /> 3. Discussion Regarding Councilmember Gregory's Planned Visit to Sister City RibeirAo <br /> Preto, Brazil <br /> At a recent City Council meeting, Councilmember Gregory reported that he has a trip <br /> planned to Brazil in summer 2011, and he would like to make an official visit to San <br /> Leandro's Sister City of Ribeirao Preto. The matter was referred to the Civic and Cultural <br /> Committee to review his request. <br /> Councilmember Gregory submitted to the Committee a "Request for Official Visit to Sister <br /> City/Friendship City" form since his request must be submitted in writing, per the guidelines <br /> in the Councilmembers Handbook. His travel dates are flexible if the City of Ribeirao Preto <br /> is able to receive him. He is not asking for any expenses to be covered for the visit, but <br /> would appreciate having some small gifts to present on his visit (i.e. Ghirardelli Chocolate, a <br />
