IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -070 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK FOR THE WICKS AND BLUE DOLPHIN LIFT <br /> STATION REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 08- 593 -52 -243 <br /> Pursuant to a contract between the City and Con -Quest Contractors, Inc., dated April 7, <br /> 2010, the Wicks and Blue Dolphin Lift Station Rehabilitation project, Project No. 08- 593 -52- <br /> 243, has been completed. <br /> Said work has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the <br /> satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation Director, and he therefore recommends that <br /> said work be accepted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That the work hereinbefore described is hereby accepted. <br /> 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion on said <br /> project. <br /> 3. That the bonds heretofore given for performance and payment of said conditions <br /> are hereby discharged and exonerated from further liability. <br /> 4. That upon completion of the one -year Maintenance Period established pursuant <br /> to said contract, and to the satisfaction of the Engineering and Transportation <br /> Director, the City Manager is hereby authorized to release the bond heretofore <br /> given for maintenance of the work hereinbefore described. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 4th day of April, <br /> 2011, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak (6) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Cassidy (1) <br /> ATTEST: L ,.I Al a % L.
