Ordinance No. 2011 -002 an Ordinance of the City of San Leandro Repealing Section 6- 1- 430(a)(3) of the San Leandro Municipal Code, and Adopting a New Section 6- 1- 430(a)(3) Permitting the Parking of Recreational Vehicles on Residential Streets upon Request for Exemption (permits the parking of recreational vehicles on residential streets 24 times per year). ADOPT: Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Agreement with Redflex Traffic Systems for the Renewal of the Red Light Photo Enforcement Program (provides for renewal of contract through December 31, 2018 for 5 approaches). Cost: $5,200 monthly leasing fee per approach. Continued to April 4, 2011 City Council meeting. C. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. City Attorney Jayne Williams reported on a previous action taken by the City Council in closed session on March 7, 2011. At the March 7 th meeting, the Council authorized the City Attorney to file a validation action in connection with the Cooperative Agreement between the City and Redevelopment Agency approved on January 17, 2011. In accordance with the City Council's direction, the City Attorney has filed a validation action, which provides protection for the RDA funding for the public improvements that were authorized in the Cooperative Agreement. 11. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR City Councilmembers announce calendar of upcoming events and coordinate attendance Vice Mayor Reed announced she will attend the March 24 Diabetic Health Fair at Carlton Plaza, and the April 2" d Senior Community Center grand opening. Councilmember Prola announced he will be attending the March 23r Police Department Recognition Ceremony; the March 26 Washington Manor Junior League Parade; and the April 15 Northern California MegaRegion Summit, "Competing Globally, Succeeding Locally," at the Oakland Marriott. Councilmember Starosciak announced the March 24 League of California Cities' East Bay Division meeting in Pleasant Hill, which she and Councilmember Souza will be attending; and the April 15t Girls, Inc. "Strong, Smart and Bold" luncheon at Scott's in Jack London Square, which she may not be able to attend.
